COVID-19 Information
Changes in Worship Due to COVID-19
As of April 4, 2022, Session has voted to make masks optional in worship. However, we are very much aware that the COVID-19 virus and its variants are still circulating in our community and that vaccinations remain unavailable or ineffective for many people. We are committed to having N95 masks (or their equivalent) available for anyone who would like one, and our livestream of worship will continue indefinitely. Please let us know if there's anything else we can do to make you feel comfortable and safe in worship!

Physical Worship
As always, you're welcome to come as you are! Currently, around 20-25 people, including leadership, are worshiping in the sanctuary. We take the following precautions to ensure everyone's health and safety:
-
Member Donna Oyama leads us in sign language responses to help us worship in new ways!

-
Bulletins are located at the entrance and along the back of the back pews to minimize contact (please ask if you can't find them!)
-
You can also access a digital copy here.
-
-
Hand sanitizer and cleaning wipes are located all around the sanctuary, including in pews.

-
The first Sunday of the month, we ask everyone to bring their own communion elements. Grape juice and bread is great, but so is crackers and apple juice, or cereal and milk - whatever you have at home! We'll have prepackaged elements if you forget.
-
We have purchased air scrubbers to continuously purify and circulate the air.

-
Masks are available to anyone who feels more comfortable wearing them.

-
We no longer pass the offering plates. Instead, you're welcome to mail a check to our offices (406 S. 14th Ave., Caldwell, ID 83605) or to donate online through your checking or savings account, or with a debit or credit card. We're grateful for your continued financial support during this time!
Virtual Worship
We livestream worship every Sunday at 11:00 am Mountain Time directly on our website. The bulletin is posted online ahead of time, so you can follow along from home. You can even participate in real time by sending a text to the pastor for prayer requests!
Christian Education
Children are always listening, even when (especially when!) they're playing, so it's important to us that they have a space in worship where they can be present and listen without having to "sit still".

We're in the process of setting up a "Prayground" at the front of the sanctuary. This is a space where littles can come during worship that will allow them to participate in worship in a way that makes sense for them.
The table has toys, crayons, and blank paper; the crawl space has stuffed animals; and the shelves have children's bibles, coloring sheets, self-drying clay, and other craft supplies so that kids can respond to what's going on in worship however they like.
We returned to in-person Christian Ed (during worship) on September 12, 2021, but our Sunday School videos will remain online for you to access at any time.

If your family still isn't comfortable with in person Sunday School but want to join us in the sanctuary for worship, our tables will remain up in the back of the sanctuary (one table for each family unit) for you to color, create, or just get the wiggles out!
