Our congregation participates in various mission projects throughout the year. We find it especially meaningful to respond to particular needs that we see arising in our community, both local and global.
Change donated to the banks at the back of the sanctuary go to projects from the PCUSA Giving Catalog.
Denominational Special Offerings
We participate in the One Great Hour of Sharing and Christmas Joy Offering annually.
We collect non-perishable food items in the narthex (entry to the Sanctuary) and donate them on a regular basis to local food banks.
CROP Hunger Walk
Every year, we support the Canyon County CROP Walk both financially and by walking.
Hosted a Blood Drive through the American Red Cross, providing space, volunteers, and donors that impacted more than 100 people.
Contributed funds to Canyon County Law Enforcement Foundation's "Shop with a Sheriff" Back to School event.
As many non-profits chose to do during this year, we focused our mission on helping those affected by the job loss or health issues related to COVID-19. A majority of our mission giving was to walk-ins seeking financial aid, but we also helped with rent assistance during this time.
Contributed funds to Canyon County Law Enforcement Foundation's "Shop with a Sheriff" Christmas event, giving more than 12 kids the opportunity for a better holiday.
Participated in the virtual version of the annual Canyon County CROP walk
In addition to our ongoing support of the Faith Lutheran Church/Treasure Valley Christian Church Cooperative Food Bank, we contributed additional funds at Thanksgiving helping the food bank to distribute 17 complete meals for the holidays.
Filled and donated backpacks to local pre-school and elementary school children
Outreach to local families impacted by a house fire

Raised money to buy 10 pairs of Shoes That Grow that were taken to a Vietnamese village by members of our church community
Organized a drive to purchase farm animals and water/well supplies for communities listed in the Presbyterian Giving Catalog
Donated backpacks filled with school supplies for Indian Creek Academy
Contributed funds to the International Rescue Fund to help with needs of families impacted by a local stabbing
